Traffic systems

The OIS clearing information system solves in detail the problem of concerted town transport of individuals. The files of the OIS equimpent gather, with the help of a collector communicating on the IBIS (IPIS) protocol of all facilities sharing in on the clearing system. The variability of the collector allows the conection of an almost free configuration, according to the demands of the person running the transport media. The heart of the whole system is the FPP-U dashboard computer. It ensures the processing of information from the IBIS collectors and controls their function. It runs all the peripheral connection to the collector and communicates with the driver with the aid of the RT-1 terminal. The FPP-U is equipped with a PCMCIA slot, by which it is possible to change the program attributes of the computer and thus carry out extensive changes in the system.

The compact KPP-1 dashboard computer

The compact dashboard computer is basic part of intergated informations systems, its function is to direct all radio comunications in car and verification. KPP-1 is able to include full traffic data of the town.

The FPP-U dashboard computer

FPP-U is basic part of intergated informations systems, its function is to direct all radio comunications in car and verification. FPP is able to include full traffic data of the town. Is the cornestone of the integrated dashboard information system according to the recommendation of the Association of transport companies of the Czech Republic. It runs the operations of the collector of the car, the collector of the wagon, the radio modem; it runs all the peripheral connections to the collector and checks their activities. The FPP is capable of taking into its memory the complete town transportation timetable.

The RT-1 drivers terminal

pThis represents the drivers information and control unit. It contains a display of 2 x 16 figures, a keyboard with 24 buttons, a chip card slot and speaker for audio alerts.

Electric ticket marker EO-2P

Is a fully automated piece of equipment, which serves to mark tickets within the town public transport system. The marker may be connected to the FPP-U dashboard computer or freely to any computer, that normally communicates with IBIS. The pressure imprints on the ticket are changeable, according to preferences of the transport system caretaker. The marker, thanks to its design, allows for the use of multiple tickets (torn, bent and so on).

Display the exact time and the present tariff zone. The setting of time and tariff zone is run by the dashboard computer. The clock communicates in the same way as the other periphery with the IBIS collector.

Chronometry

this equipment updates the Dispatch Information System (OIS) with the ability for preliminary detection of vehicle loading and monitoring of vehicle operating parameters. The equipment is controlled from the current FPP-U (MYPOL) deck computer and it works under IBIS (IPIS) protocol, which provides for perfect compatibility of the whole file

MZV-2 A measuring device for measurement of vehicle loading and vehicle operating parameters - the equipment serves for preliminary monitoring of vehicle loading with passengers. Resultant values are continuously saved in memory of the deck computer and in memory module of DTRV-2 wireless transceiver, which sends the data wireless to garage PC and then via computer network to dispatcher's desk for evaluation

- the equipment works via tensiometric sensors, which read pressure in hydropneumatic springing units. The equipment's processor unit processes the measured data, using an algorithm, into resultant reports on loading, which are transferred to the desk computer via IBIS data bus and saved in DTRV-2 memory module

- a vehicle parameter indicator reads the current values of certain vehicle operating parameters (vehicle speed, fuel reserve, etc.). These values are preliminarily saved in system memory and they can be subsequently used for a number of analyses. In this way it is possible to monitor the driver's driving techniques, abidance by given values of operating parameters and to monitor fuel consumption

- radio communications data transfer enables wireless data connection of FFP-U desk computer to the garage PC and subsequently to the dispatcher's desk via computer network. The system utilizes short-range (approx. 100 m) miniature data transceivers working in the UHF band, for which a general permit in the Czech Republic has been acquired

- the system is composed of a DTRV-1 vehicle data transceiver located behind windscreen on the right side of the vehicle

- furthermore the system comprises a garage equipment set composed of a DTRPC-1 computer data transceiver and a garage PC, which is equipped with SW for evaluation of delivered reports on abidance by flow sheet, vehicle loading and vehicle operating parameters. Initiation of wireless data transfer is conducted by a MSIR data acquisition beacon (transceiver of coded reports by means of infrared light - on garage dispatcher's desk).
